Flood!
I was up to my arse in flood waters most of the day (literally) ferrying supplies and sundries to friends that were stranded by rising waters. The old home place is high and dry, if it ever flooded all of the county would be underwater, but the well has become contaminated with surface waters. I know this because the water coming from the tap is the color if tea. hopefully it will clear itself out, otherwise we're going to need to have another well put in. This will be a very expensive bummer. Anyway, after a day of wading I am back at my weekday quarters in Fellsmere, sipping a rum and coke and listening to Jimmy Buffett.
